A life dedicated to Earth sciences, the legacy of Professor Corneliu Dinu
11 April 2022, 9:00 – 18:30 Vasile Lăzărescu Hall, Faculty of Geology and Geophysics, 6 Traian Vuia str., Bucharest, Romania

Professor Corneliu Dinu (1944-2020) was a remarkable personality of the Romanian research in Earth sciences, with a well-known and recognized national and international activity. Researcher and leader of the Faculty of Geology and Geophysics, University of Bucharest, prof. Dinu was active in structural geology, tectonics, geodynamics, sedimentary basins analysis, geo-engineering, environmental and geologic studies of river-delta-sea dynamics, leader and creator of the modern school of geology and geophysics. This symposium is organized by his former students, colleagues and collaborators honoring his activity.
